Hi there! I’m Genesis, the crazy lady behind the camera. I am a down to earth, jack of all trades, mom who loves to do crafts, be outside, and have fun! I love basically all things. I bake, paint, woodwork, crochet, build, and love to decorate.

I didn’t start off with my dream being photography but I have really loved this new journey. Ever since I was 2 years old I wanted to work with animals & I had planned on becoming a Vet. After years of moving, starting and stopping school, I have majored in Animal Science at NMSU. After my daughter was born my priorities shifted a little lol. I have decided that being home to watch my babies grow up is my new journey.

Thanks to my wonderful husband, I am able to stay home with our two babies & pursue my photography business. I, of course, still love working with animals & I often practice taking photos of my fur babies.

With my new path opening all these doors and allowing me to let my creative flag fly, I am able to really channel my crafts into my work. If I am not home making messes with my kids, chasing our chickens or tending to my millions of house plants, I am behind my camera chasing the light. I believe photos help keep memories alive and are like mini time machines that take us back to those precious moments shared with the ones we love.

About Me

I am very outgoing and absolutely love meeting new people, as well as build lasting friendships with returning clients. I would be ecstatic to be the one to capture these wonderful memories happening in your life right now.

I am a Wedding & Lifestyle photographer.

That means I capture the real life happening right now. I see so much more than just smiling faces saying β€œCheese!”. I see the love, the fun, the real beauty in your session.
In order to capture that real emotion, I do not just point, pose, & shoot.
I will give your prompts or poses to result in movement & joy in your pictures. I also capture the in -between moments when your just doing your natural thing too. Candid shots are my favorite to capture because they are just so natural, raw, & authentic.
